Course Description: In this engaging 3-class mini-course, high beginner students who have previously learned to speak using the present tense will practice their listening and speaking skills by having a wide range of discussions about food and the magic that happens in the kitchen. You’ll learn thematic vocabulary related to food and cooking, discuss your favorite foods, explore culinary traditions in Latin America, and practice constructions used in written recipes. Highly participative, the class will provide opportunities for both class discussion and conversation in pairs with abundant instructor feedback to help you improve accuracy and speak with more natural constructions in Spanish.
Best suited for: Students who’ve completed Spanish Beginner 3, or Beginner 4, or Beginner 5 or equivalent
