Tierra’s Grand Re-Opening Fiesta - Live Andean Music: Saturday May 9th!!

We are thrilled to open our doors for a community fiesta as we celebrate Tierra’s 6th Anniversary at our exciting new location, 5745 NE Glisan St.! Join us Saturday May 9th from 6-8pm at Tierra for a memorable evening with a special musical performance by Tito Amaya and Freddy Calla Waiwa of local Andean music group Chayag. They will conjure the fascinating culture shared by the peoples of Andes mountains with a lively program of folkloric music using a wide variety of authentic instruments, including the Charango (ten string lute), El Bombo (Andean drum), Quena and Zampoñas (Native South American Flutes), and guitar.

Invite your family and friends and bring a dish or drink to share in our bountiful potluck meal or a suggested donation of $5. Stay ‘till the end for our raffle for discounts on Spanish classes!
