Summer Spanish Intensive Courses
Make this Summer an educational, cultural, and rewarding experience studying Spanish at Tierra Educational Center!
An intensive study program will be offered over the summer twice weekly in five week sessions for both Beginner and Intermediate Spanish students.
Add to your professional development education, improve the quality of your travel experiences, or increase your ability to communicate with your clients, patients, students, or friends through our friendly, structured, and dynamic classes at TEC.
Courses will be held in 2 five week sessions, at the schedule below. Participation in both series is not obligatory.
Intensive Beginner Spanish Series: Tuesdays and Thursdays 10am-12pm
First session: June 22-July 22
Second session: August 3-September 2
Intensive Intermediate Spanish Series: Mondays and Wednesdays 10am-12pm
First session: June 21-July 21
Second session: August 2-September 1
There is a 10% discount available for Public School Teachers and Staff. Promotions and discounts can't be combined.

The mission of Tierra Educational Center, LLC is to provide quality and
affordable language, cultural, and technological education and services
to the Portland community. The organization developed out of the shared
belief of its owners that communication and cultural barriers between
the growing immigrant population and the community at large can be
broken down with the availability of affordable education and small
group integration amongst the communities.

E-mail "Intercambio" Pilot program!
Tierra Educational Center recently established contact with a nice and small language academy in the beautiful town of Patzcuaro, Michoacan in Mexico. Most of the students there are young people interested in improving their English language skills. We have started organizing an "E-mail Intercambio" program of written English-Spanish exchange with these students. If you are interested in participating in this program to practice your written Spanish skills and to share your English with these wonderful people of Patzcuaro, please reply to this email.

Tierra Educational Center will be selecting a "Student of the Month" to feature in our e-newsletters and to award with one free class credit. These awards will recognize students who show outstanding dedication to their studies, as well as active participation in extracurricular activities, such as Spanish Conversation Club. The first recipient of this award is Shannon Sexton.
