Student Evaluation

Upon completion of the course each student will be evaluated and these evaluations will be submitted to supervisors at DCS. The student performance evaluation will consist of the following parts:

• Participation                        25%
• Homework Assignments     75%

Participation - This part of your score will be evaluated based on the quantity and quality of your participation in the online forums each week and live chat sessions every two weeks. These are to serve as a virtual classroom and we encourage you to take advantage of them as they are designed to help you to exchange ideas and overcome challenges.

Homework - The 75% of the score for homework will be split into two parts:

• Reading Comprehension Quiz: 25% of total
• Written Activities:  50% of total

This course will not have a final exam. Rather, the evaluation of your performance will be a cumulative measurement of your performance on all of the homework assignments and improvement.
