Practice Spanish with Theater
Course Description: This unique course for higher intermediate students will provide a unique platform for practicing your Spanish skills through theater games, reading scripts aloud, and preparing mini-performances.
Students will enjoy a range of stimulating activities including improvisational exercises, writing short scenes in pairs, and reading excerpts from plays, providing an excellent opportunity to strengthen comprehension skills and to read out loud in Spanish. Lessons will include refreshers on the rules of Spanish pronunciation and structured exercises to improve students’ pronunciation and fluidity.
Tierra instructor Laura Di Mare will draw on her background in theater to provide a highly engaging learning experience for students. A fun opportunity to summon your hidden desire to act and at the same time hone your Spanish skills, this course is designed to boost your accuracy and confidence in speaking.
Best suited for: Students who’ve completed at least Spanish Intermediate 3 or equivalent
