1) Why are you studying Spanish?
"I've always wanted to learn since childhood. Born in Colorado, Spanish
was taught from Kindergarden thru grade school as a requirement, and I elected
to continue through Junior High. However, I never got proficient. Now,
in landscaping, in my opinion, Spanish is a requirement for top quality work."

2) What is your favorite part about your experience here at Tierra?
"Por supuesto, son los otros alumnos. We all come from interesting
backgrounds, and are all highly motivated to learn Spanish. There is a
wonderful dynamic when everyone wants to learn together. (And, well, yes,
the teachers are wonderful, too.)"

3) Can you tell us of a time you have been able to use what you have
learned studying here?
"I've already been using the language for work, when I'm working with my
fellow hispanohablantes during construction projects. Projects go more
smoothly, and quality is higher, when we're all communicating and
understanding each other better."
