Low Beginner Conversation: Los gustos
Course Description: This fun and engaging course provides a chance for students who have previously learning to conjugate verbs in the present tense only and will provide a chance to practice speaking using the structures they’ve learned so far.
There will be a review of the verb gustar and how it is used to express likes and dislikes, and then each day there will be conversational activities to get to know one another and discuss the students’ likes and dislikes, as well as those of their family members or friends. Each day will have a theme, for example, hobbies and favorite activities, food preferences, and entertainment and media. Students will learn useful vocabulary related to the theme of the day, and enjoy oral activities as a group and in pairs for conversational practice.
Best suited for: Students who’ve completed Spanish Beginner 2 or Beginner 3 or equivalent.
