Course Description: This fun and engaging course provides a chance for students who have previously taken our Beginner 2 or Beginner 3 courses (or who are recommended this course after taking our placement exam) to practice speaking using the structures they’ve learned so far.
The main focus of this course will be to apply the basic structures learned in our Beginner 1 and 2 levels in conversational practice. These structures include noun/adjective agreement, using the verbs "ser" and "estar" for “to be”, contrasting "ser" and "estar" with "hay", and conjugating regular verbs in the present tense. Students will also practice conjugating stem-changing verbs (a topic from Beginner 3). These topics will be briefly reviewed and then practiced with a wide range of dynamic activities and games, while the instructor provides abundant feedback and supports each student in their learning journey. Students will practice describing people and places, asking and answering basic questions, discussing their likes, dislikes, and daily habits.
A perfect way to boost your confidence and prepare for taking your next course with a more solid ability to use the structures you’ve learned thus far.
Best suited for: Students who’ve completed Spanish Beginner 2 or Beginner 3 or equivalent.
