Spanish classTierra Educational Center is a locally owned, independent language school located in NE Portland, Oregon. We offer small group and private Spanish classes of the highest quality for adults and children of all levels. Come and enjoy lively discussion in Spanish, good food, and friendly people in a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere. If you are new to Tierra, this is a great opportunity to get to know the school while you interact with some of our teachers and staff.  Bring a dish or beverage to share or a suggested $5 donation and invite your friends and family to have fun practicing Spanish!

Mexican Culture and History - Part III (Starts July 25th):
An advanced immersion course in which students delve into the most significant and emblematic events in modern history of Mexico. Through representative readings, documentaries, and movies, stimulating research projects, and group discussions, we will acquire a better understanding of Mexico's current situation and the evolution of Mexican culture and identity.

Spanish for Healthcare Professionals (Starts July 26th):
A beginner Spanish course specially designed to meet the needs of health-care professionals, providing relevant vocabulary and ample practice to boost students' ability to communicate effectively with Spanish-speaking patients.
