Spanish Classes for the New Year !

Is your New Year's resolution to become fluent in Spanish? Tierra Educational Center in Northeast Portland has what you need! A variety of classes are available for all levels and schedules, starting next week, January 10th. In addition to the language, the courses integrate cultural lessons, offering you the opportunity to delve into a study abroad experience without having to board a plane. See below for details.

Small Group Spanish Classes for the New Year

Beginner 1: Tuesdays 7:30-9:20pm (New Group!) or Wednesdays 7:30-9:20pm
Beginner 2: Mondays 7:30-9:20pm or Tuesdays 7:30-9:20pm
Beginner 3: Mondays 5:30-7:20pm; or Wednesdays 5:30-7:20pm and/or Thursdays 7:30-9:20pm
Intermediate 1: Tuesdays 5:30-7:20pm or Thursdays 5:30-7:20pm
Intermediate 2: Thursdays 5:30-7:20pm
Intermediate 3: Mondays 5:30-7:20pm or Wednesdays 5:30-7:20pm
Advanced: Thursdays 7:30-9:20pm

Intensive Spanish Classes Now Available

An intensive study program will be offered twice weekly in blocks of five week sessions for Beginner to Intermediate Spanish students after the new year. These courses significantly accelerate the pace at which you learn the Spanish language and are an excellent option for those students with time sensitive learning goals, or who wish to optimize their course achievement.

Intensive Beginner I-II Spanish Series:
Mondays and Wednesdays 6-7:50pm; Starting January 10th, 2011

Intensive Beginner III-Intermediate I Spanish Series:
Tuesdays and Thursdays 6-7:50pm; Starting January 11th, 2011

Beginner Spanish for Healthcare Professionals

Tierra will be offering a Beginner Spanish course tailored to healthcare professionsals. Students will learn beginner Spanish concepts in addition to the names of body parts, action verbs, and useful phrases typically used in a medical setting. Communicate more effectively with your patients or clients, and perhaps get a promotion while you're at it!

Meets: Wednesdays, 4-5:50pm; Starting January 12th, 2011

After School Spanish for Children & Family Spanish Classes

Tierra will continue to offer Spanish classes for children ages 6-10 on Thursdays from 4-5pm, starting January 13th. For class structure and rates click here.
