Remarkable Women in Mexican History

Course Description: In this engaging 5-class course, students will learn about a selection of some of the most dynamic women in Mexican history! Through the reading of biographies and individual research, we will unravel the rich lives of these women which span different eras and genres of art, culture, and politics. Through their artistic creation and activism, each of the women studied left an indelible legacy in Mexican culture and their fascinating stories will inspire you. Designed for intermediate students who’ve at least previously learned the present and past tenses, this course will provide the opportunity to enjoy stimulating discussion exclusively in Spanish and to gain confidence in all aspects of your language skills.

Best suited for: Students who’ve completed at least Spanish Lower Intermediate Review & Practice or equivalent.
