Spanish Language Education & Cultural Immersion

In Conversational Spanish 1, high beginner students take a pause from learning new grammar skills to focus on using the structures they’ve learned thus far in conversation. Mexican Stories and Legends invites intermediate students to expand their cultural horizons as they read and analyze short stories and legends from Mexico’s indigenous cultures. And Advanced students will boost their reading and speaking skills while gaining new cultural insight in the conversational course “Art and Culture in the News”.

Beginner: Conversational Spanish 1 Instructor: Alfredo
Intensive Course (2x/week for 5 weeks)

Intermediate: Mexican Stories and Legends Instructor: Norberto
Regular Course (1x/week for 10 weeks)
Wednesdays | 6:00-7:50pm | January 12th - March 16th 

Advanced: Art and Culture in the News Instructor: Cynthia
Regular Course (1x/week for 10 weeks)
Tuesdays | 5:30-7:20pm | January 11th - March 15th

Registration is open now for Tierra’s Winter Term 2022! Pursue your goals of expanding your Spanish skills and building community with Spanish speakers near and far by joining a fun and interactive online Spanish class with Tierra! All classes will continue to be online this Winter, but we hope to transition in some in-person classes throughout the next year.

The Winter Term schedule includes a full array of once and twice-weekly course options with 12 levels of standard courses plus conversational and cultural immersion course options. Classes begin the week of January 10th!
